Our story

Beacon Digital was founded by Liam Keenan, a software developer based in Hermanus. After working on web projects for years, Liam noticed a consistent gap in the South African market: small businesses desperately needed professional web presences, but traditional agencies were too slow, too expensive, and too inflexible for the average local business owner.

The answer was automation. Beacon Digital built a pipeline that gathers real business data — photos, services, reviews, hours — directly from Google Business Profile and existing websites, then we design and build a complete, custom website around it. No templates. No stock content. Your real business, built properly.

How we work

Every Beacon site is a fully custom React/Next.js application, deployed to a global edge network. We match your brand colors, preserve your booking links, use your real photos, and structure the content around your actual services. You preview the full working site before paying a cent.

We also help clients manage Google Search Ads campaigns — from initial setup and keyword selection through to ongoing bid management and monthly performance reporting. All campaign work is done programmatically, with client sign-off before any budget changes are applied.
